Marilyn Winchester is haunted by the appearance of a child that she desperately believes is the ghost of her aborted daughter Summer. The apparition maddens her, reminding her of the past sin for which she cannot be absolved. To ease her damaged spirit Marilyn seeks guidance in Yoga-Meditation with a wise old sage.

Visions of the girl become more vivid as Marilyn gains balance and insight, sending her on a journey to uncover the truth of the haunting, telepathic messages sent by the soul of Summer, who has been reincarnated into the new body of another mother's child. The little one reaches out for reconnection with her past life mother, the very one who terminated her.

What Marilyn finds on her odyssey initially terrifies but ultimately liberates her.

Yes, this film is about abortion... no, it is not what you think it is. The storyline of the partial birth abortion had a different take and was not left or right... it was a pretty well rounded portrayal of the lives surrounding the decision. While the acting felt a little lifetime-y at some points, the color palette helped to orchestrate the turmoil felt by the lead. Whether you are pro-choice or pro-life, this film was an interesting drama/psychological thriller.
