Before he has a chance to think about it too much, struggling filmmaker Michael Davis throws himself wholeheartedly into crafting a celluloid valentine for Stacie, his very recent ex-girlfriend and soul mate. What could go wrong? Even Michael couldn’t have predicted the unbelievable twists and turns he would capture on his camera in the following days, which would eventually evolve into the feature FOR LOVE & STACIE – at once a courageous, cathartic, hopelessly romantic testament to the lengths to which we will go for love, and a darkly comic, almost-too-honest, painfully familiar odyssey through the kind of misery and psychological debasement that only a loved one is capable of inflicting.

Love is blind for certain... Join Michael on the roller coaster of life and love to one possible conclusion ... however unlikely it might be. _ _ _ Film style was superb. The reality video is such a difficult style to master - just enough video and audio distortion to carry the style without over-burdening the viewer is tough to handle. I like it. The combination of audio and subtitles is a good mix. Perhaps more subtitles of the personalities in the video introducing the characters might have given it more a documentary feel. Characters are quite static - except for the dynamic Mike. Quite the complex conflict as well - on multiple levels. Loved it ... will recommend it. _ _ _ I could not stop watching... with multiple interruptions, including a dinner, it took me about 3.5 hours to watch the whole thing - did I mention I could not stop watching? _ _ _ Casting and acting was superb. Much to like... and much to watch and enjoy... and quite a few spots through which to wince in pain, embarrassment, and anguish for the characters ... _ _ _ Very entertaining, intriguing, and with a great ending ... the very end ... Until that time. . . Earl J.
