Five people, invited to a party with no host, at a home with no residents, discover that they are connected by the murder of their mutual friend, Julie. When their mysterious host arrives, he is revealed to be Julie’s ex-boyfriend – the man recently acquitted of the crime. And he comes armed with a revelation: One of them is the real killer. Thus begins a chaotic battle for survival as they discover that the road to truth can be a twisting and deadly one. Inspired by Hitchcock’s “Rope” and Lumet’s “12 Angry Men,” “The Confession” is a taut, neo-noir thriller which redefines the boundaries of film.
