Unicorn Pride is a short documentary about the Texas town of New Braunfels. Its community claims to be the only high school in the nation with a Unicorn mascot. They're so proud of their unicorns, every school in the town has it as their mascot.
Fanatical faculty, proud parents and tradition-conscious students take their dedication of the Unicorn to another level. The whole Unicorn community comes together every week for those Friday night lights. Mystical Creature or not: Unicorn Pride is justified. Festivals screened at include: Staten Island Film Festival Boston International Film Festival Girl Fest Hawaii North Hampton Independent Film Festival Flatland Film Festival |
Here's the deal: Buy any download today.
We'll deduct that price from your purchase off the DVD if you decide to buy it. Or if you want the higher res download later on, the amount you already spent on the low res download counts toward the upgrade.
This offer doesn't expire. We're not going to make you pay extra for figuring out that you love one of our movies so much that you want the DVD or high res download. That's just how we roll.
We never want you to feel ripped off when you buy something on Festival Genius. It's that simple. We came up with the idea that the purchase of a download is like a down payment on a DVD - that you'll never have to spend extra on a film just because you bought the download first - because we think it's the right way to do business.
Trying to get every last penny out of you is not our thing. Helping you find (and buy) great movies is.

I really enjoyed this film. It's like... I can see how people that are "too cool" for high school football and small town living will find "Unicorn Pride" totally HILARIOUS. And I can also see how people that are totally into high school football and small town living will find the film to be a complementary, intimate portrait of good old-fashioned team spirit and, well, pride! And you know something... I appreciated it from both angles. Did he REALLY just say that?! Pass the cornbread!
I want to be a Unicorn.
